DYKE SOCCER was founded in NYC by Alex Schmidt and Jolie Signorile with ongoing support from Tess Altman, Bird Birdsall, Jess Brinkman, Amy Erickson, Micah Helle, Megan Hicks, Adele Jackson-Gibson, Sara Karpen, Yael Malka, Jael McCants, Anna Muselmann, Ele Robb, Cari Sekendur, and Tian Yi.

As of August 2021, Dyke Soccer is now overseen by a Steering Committee made up of Adele Jackson-Gibson, C De La Cruz Rodriguez, Chance Danh, Esther Park, Fabiola Devila, Jules Becerra, Maddie Keyes-Levine, and Mariliza Parker. Together the steering committee manages creative direction, outreach, growth, new chapters, press, social media, communications, special events, clinics, finances, visioning, and partnerships. All decisions are made with our stated values in mind. 

Dyke Soccer is voluntarily and communally operated by working groups focused on: communication, restoring, training, and educating.

DYKE SOCCER MXIFESTO was written by Alex Schmidt, Jolie Signorile, Megan Hicks, Kayla Green, and Megan Harney. It is a living document written with the support of many named resources.

Chapters are collaboratively run and captaining is a volunteer + rotating role.

DYKE SOCCER NYC is organized by Alex Schmidt and Casey Bergner, alongside a rotating group of volunteer captains, gear handlers, designers, and more.

DYKE SOCCER SOUTH BK is co-organized by Alanna Duncan, Sarah Einspanier, Michelle Ferrara, Julie Guirado-Nys, Ashima Jain, Elizabeth McCarthy, and Tian Yi. The group co-founded Dyke Soccer SOUTH BK in November 2019.

DYKE SOCCER LA was founded by Collins Salovaara + Rhys Ryan-Humphrey in February 2018 and is currently captained by rotating teammates.

DYKE SOCCER DC is organized by Genevieve Dunno, Kayla Green with Scotty Scott, Rosmary Rodriguez Bellais, Clara Dorfi and other swamp dykes. Green founded Dyke Soccer DC in August 2018.

TONGUE IN CLEAT is a Dyke Soccer publication featuring fan art, love advice, person ads, sublets, events, ads, and more. The project is run by: Anna Muselmann (Editor in Chief), Tess Altman (Art Director), Alice Kesich (Graphic Designer), JJ MacDonald (Content Manager), Adele Jackson-Gibson (Field Journalist), Julia Bedell (Private Eye), and Alex Schmidt (Unlicensed Social Therapist). Submit your announcements + creative work to Tongue in Cleat: dykesoccer@gmail.com
